Bower Cafe 1213 Collab with StayCozy Hotels

Here’s a prix fixe menu I designed for the Stay Cozy hotel and Bower Cafe partnership. Along with menu items, I designed, made, priced, and photographed. I also worked on linking a QR code to our webpage for convenience and ease of service.

After setting up the deal, creating the menu, and sending over promotional material. It was time to build the assets we would see on our end. So with the help of Claude AI, I created a progressive web app for the iPads in the cafe. It connects to an email parser program that scans our email inbox for orders from the Stay Cozy hotel and writes up a ticket here.

Stay Cozy had set up the order system in combination with their booking system. So when guests book their room, they’d have the option to reserve breakfast with our cafe. These reservations would be sent in an email to our inbox, which would then be picked up by the email parser program.

On July 3rd, Bower Cafe and Harriett’s Book Shop partnered up for lunch.

Harriett’s Book Shop does a monthly tour celebrating black female authors, entrepreneurs, and activists. On the 3rd of July, 2026, Bower Cafe 1213 hosted the lunch for the book tour. For the event, I created a menu that worked around dietary restrictions and preferences. I was also in charge of pricing this specialty menu and delivering an ingredients list as well as a graphic displaying the menu items. On the day of, we cooked, cleaned, staged, and hosted Harriett’s tour and had a great time.
